Grants & Contracts

Because a player creating a new prison starts out with just $30,000, grants and contracts are almost crucial to use at the beginning of the game for a player to get their prison up and running. When a player agrees to complete a grant or contract, a list of items that must be done to complete said contract will appear in the to-do window. Depending on the contract, a player may receive money in advance and/or after completion. There is a limit (2 at first then 3 with the extra grant unlocked) to how many grants and contracts can be started at once and, once started, there is no time limit that must be met to complete a particular grant or contract. Many new grants have now been added since alpha 19.
