Weapons are useful for guards to prevent or end incidents. They are also very useful for prisoners and are a highly demanded type of contraband. Prisoners will also use anything they can get their hands on, including Armed Guards weapons and jail keys.

Melee Weapons Edit

  • Baton: Used by guards to suppress prisoners. Can be stolen and smuggled. A standard melee weapon that all Guards come equipped with. Will not set off dogs or metal detectors
  • Club: Improvised version of the Baton. Will not set off dogs or metal detectors and can be stolen from Cleaning Cupboard.
  • Fork: Stolen from Kitchen or smuggled in. Will set off metal detectors
  • Knife: Can be stolen from the kitchen or smuggled in. Will set off metal detectors
  • Shank: Improvised knife. Can be made in the Workshop.
  • Scissors: Can be stolen from Infirmary Morgue or library
  • Shears: Can be smuggled into the prison.
  • Clipboard: Stolen from dead/unconscious Administrators. Will not set off metal detetcors or dogs
  • Piano Wire: Smuggled in only.
  • Drill: Stolen from Workshop/Storage or smuggled in. Will set off metal detectors.
  • Axe: Stolen from Forestry or smuggled in. Will set off metal detectors.
  • Spoon: Stolen from Kitchen or smuggled in. Will set off metal detectors.
  • Hammer: Stolen from Workshop/Storage or smuggled in. Will set off metal detectors.
  • Screwdriver: Stolen from Workshop/Storage or smuggled in. Will set off metal detectors.

Firearms Edit

As of Alpha 35, firearms and ranged weapons have accuracy rates for that generally apply to both guards and prisoners. Tasers have a 60% accuracy rate, but Armed Guards have a 70% accuracy rate for tasers. All other ranged weapons have a 70% accuracy rate, but Armed Guards have a 90% accuracy rate for ranged weapons.

  • Taser: Used by guards to suppress and apprehend prisoners. A non-lethal ranged weapon utilizing electricity.
  • Gun (Revolver): Can be stolen from the Security Room or the Armory. A revolver pistol.
  • Shotgun: Used by Armed Guards to suppress or kill prisoners during emergencies. A standard pump-action combat shotgun with 12-gauge shells.
  • Assault Rifle: Used by the National Guard when a riot becomes uncontrolled. A synthetic-stocked assault rifle heavily resembling an M16A1.
